Worship at Trinity

In our worship life at Trinity, we have respect for the traditions which have been passed down over the centuries. The historic tradition of Gathering – Word – Meal – Sending is almost always the pattern for our worship. Within that tradition are many opportunities for variation and we avail ourselves of them.

Sunday Prayer of the Day
Sunday,
September 3
Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost O God, we thank you for your Son, who chose the path of suffering for the sake of the world. Humble us by his example, point us to the path of obedience, and give us strength to follow your commands, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.

Sunday,
September 10

Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost O Lord God, enliven and preserve your church with your perpetual mercy. Without your help, we mortals will fail; remove far from us everything that is harmful, and lead us toward all that gives life and salvation, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.

Sunday,
September 17

Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost O Lord God, merciful judge, you are the inexhaustible fountain of forgiveness. Replace our hearts of stone with hearts that love and adore you, that we may delight in doing your will, through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.

Sunday,
September 24

Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost Almighty and eternal God, you show perpetual lovingkindness to us your servants. Because we cannot rely on our own abilities, grant us your merciful judgment, and train us to embody the generosity of your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
