2017 will be a busy time for our group!
On March 12, the Bake Sale returns! Our talented bakers will provide St. Patrick’s Day themed goodies (as well as some old favorites) for purchase. Items are typically priced from $1 – $5.
Our Coats of Many Colors initiative has been so successful that we have decided to extend it throughout the year, with a change of focus beginning in April. Instead of coats, jackets and cold weather wear, we will be collecting shorts and T-shirts.
All women are invited to the Suncoast Conference Spring Gathering on Saturday, March 11 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Clearwater. The theme this year is Feed My Sheep, based on John 21:17. Registration begins at 9 and the program is from 9:30-12:30, with lunch and craft from 12:30 – 1:30. A sign up sheet will be on the bulletin board if you would like to attend. Carpools can be arranged.
Meetings for the Band of Angels are typically held on the last Sunday of each month after worship. The next meeting is scheduled for March 26th – we would love to see you there! Lisa Johnson
Team Trinity and their friends will join on Sunday, November 27th for our Giving Thanks Meal following worship. Everyone is to bring a favorite casserole, side-dish or dessert to share. We would also like some cold drinks and ice. Church will provide the coffee and paper products. During worship A BIG THANK YOU to the men of Trinity who provided our Shrove Tuesday pancake dinner. Your gifts and skills were obvious and appreciated. Look on the Serving Ministry Chart on the bulletin board and see where you can help on a short term basis. Volunteers are needed to work the Food Pantry on either Tuesday or Friday between 10AM-Noon. Pick your day and time—remember this need not be a long term commitment.
Volunteers are needed to help clean a portion of Mirror Lake on a Saturday once a month. Dates and times will be listed on the bulletin board.
A congregational movie afternoon is planned for Saturday, March 11th (time to be announced) at the new Tyrone Movie Theater. The movie is “The Shack” based on book by same title. This is a spiritual journey of a father unable to forgive himself after loss of his daughter. Sign-up will be on bulletin board–we would like to reserve seats together so please respond ASAP with name and number of tickets.
The next Serving Ministry Team will be on Sunday, March 19th following worship.

Join us any Wednesday morning between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. in the quilting room, downstairs next to the elevator entrance. You’ll see the light on. Just tap on a window and we’ll come to show you in. No arm twisting, but maybe it’s something you’ll enjoy. We’d love having more workers so that our output reaches two dozen this year!
